Rain Drops
These are curious 2-3 year old toddlers, we have 12 of them at a time and 3 dedicated nursery nursies to help them.
The Rain drops group room is so spacious and big that we even run races in it. Children here have endless toys to choose from and a variety of educational tools for them to learn, develop and get to know their environment. Learning corners such as reading books, math, music, construction, art and understanding the world and many more are separated into areas of the room.
And when it’s time for rest, Rain drops prepare their little beds with sleeping bags, listens for a story and sinks tiredly into the cosy world of dreams.
The group also has a separate hygiene room with 2 small private toilets, sinks and nappy changing area.
Toodler 2-3 y. (Laseliai) group daily schedule
7:00 – 8:00 Early morning session – for children who arrived an hour earlier – welcome and free play.
8:00 – 9:00 Most children have arrived and been registered.
9:00 – 9:30 Breakfast.
9:30 – 10:00 Outdoor play, adult led activity / child initiated free play.
10:00 – 10:30 Free play and settling-in time. Children socialise with peers and staff and settle down their day.
10:30 – 10:45 Mid–morning snack time.
10:45 – 12:00 Circle time / Story time / Craft activities, learning Lithuanian and English languages, music, role play and rhymes.
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch time.
12:30 – 12:45 Getting ready to rest time.
12:45 – 15:00 Sleep / rest time.
15:00 – 15:15 Afternoon snack.
15:15 – 16:00 Dancing, child initiated free play.
16:00 – 16:30 Tea time.
16:30–17:30 Oustide / Inside adult led activity.
17:30 – 18:00 Free play.
18:00 Setting closes.
